The Lima Campus Student American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA) is the official student chapter of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) and the Ohio Dental Hygienists' Association (ODHA) at Rhodes State College, uniting future registered dental hygienists around clinical excellence, preventive oral healthcare, patient advocacy, and ethical practice.
Professional Development & Board Examination Preparation
Specialized review sessions and clinical skills workshops built around the NBDHE and regional clinical licensing exams, backed by supplemental study resources, peer study groups, and faculty mentorship.
Student Leadership & ADHA Tripartite Alignment
As the local link in the ADHA/ODHA tripartite structure, we teach the governance, advocacy principles, legislative scope-of-practice developments, and professional ethics that shape the hygiene profession.
Clinical Excellence & Modern Hygiene Workflows
Supplemental learning in digital periodontal charting, advanced instrumentation, dental radiography, laser therapy applications, and evidence-based preventive care protocols.
Community Oral Health Leadership & Service
Public health education campaigns, volunteer health fairs, school presentations, and regional preventive care clinics that reduce oral health disparities across Greater Lima.
