As the official Rhodes State College student chapter of ADHA and ODHA, Lima Campus SADHA provides the leadership infrastructure that carries our members from the classroom into state licensing, regional clinical board examinations, and full careers as registered dental hygienists across Allen County and West-Central Ohio.
Board Examination Preparation
Specialized review sessions, clinical skills workshops, and board prep seminars for the NBDHE and regional clinical licensing exams, supported by peer study groups and faculty mentorship.
ADHA Tripartite Governance & Advocacy
Chapter alignment with ADHA and ODHA teaches tripartite governance, advocacy principles, legislative scope-of-practice developments, and professional ethics.

Relationships with regional dental practices, community health centers, and hospital networks across West-Central Ohio give members direct access to associate positions, clinical mentorship, and employment opportunities.

Structured peer-to-peer mentorship pairs senior students with incoming first-years, reinforced by faculty guidance from the Rhodes State College Dental Hygiene Department.
Community Oral Health Service
Public health education, volunteer health fairs, school presentations, and regional preventive care clinics that reduce oral health disparities across Greater Lima.
